W <br />Once the consultant's work is complete the HSMT will evaluate <br />the outcome based upon the scope of work initially outlined. <br />Success will have been achieved by the designing of a common <br />database to be used in the human services computerization <br />system. <br />THE FUTURE <br />The orange County Board of County Commissioners in the annual <br />retreat in January 1989 set a goal of computer automation of <br />the County's human services delivery system. This goal was <br />reaffirmed in January 1990. Concurrently, county management, <br />human services departments as well as non - -human services <br />departments support the achievement of this goal. Therefore, <br />once an implementation plan is developed. a request for <br />County general fund monies is expected to be well received. <br />4 <br />
