It will be <br />reviewed annually to permit needed changes. <br />BASIC PROVISIONS OF THE MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING <br />A. The Retired Senior Volunteer Program will: <br />1. Recruit, interview, and enroll RSVP volunteers. <br />2. Provide orientation to the volunteer station staff prior to <br />the placement of volunteers, and at other times, as the need <br />arises. <br />3. Refer volunteers to the volunteer station for assignments, and <br />review the acceptability of volunteer assignments. <br />4. Furnish accident, personal liability, and excess automobile <br />liability insurance coverages as required by program policy. <br />5: In cooperation with the RSVP Advisory Council, arrange for <br />an appeals procedure to address problems arising between the <br />volunteer, the volunteer station,'and /or RSVP. <br />6. Reimburse Senior Volunteers directly for transportation costs <br />in accordance with RSVP policies or arrange with the volunteer <br />station for the transportation of volunteers to and from their <br />assignments. <br />7. Arrange with the volunteer station for meals, when possible, for <br />volunteers on assignments. <br />8. Periodically discuss and /or assess the needs of the volunteers <br />and the volunteer station. <br />B. The Volunteer Station will: <br />1. Make the final decision on the assignment of volunteers. <br />
