Attach 10 <br />(e) Inspector: a person certified by the North Carolina Code <br />Officials Qualification Board to engage in enforcement of the North <br />Carolina State Building Code and related building rules approved <br />by the North Carolina Building Code Council. <br />(f) saw service <br />(g) temporary electric ower: electric service other than <br />saw service provided to a building prior to the issuance of a <br />certificate of occupancy for that building. <br />Sec. 2. Intent. The intent of this ordinance is to protect and <br />promote the health, safety, and general welfare of the County and <br />its'residents by regulating the issuance of permits for temporary <br />electric power for buildings in the County prior to completion of <br />such buildings. <br />The purpose of the regulations set out in this ordinance shall <br />be to establish safe use of temporary electric power within the <br />County, to provide adequate protection, to secure safety from fire <br />and electric hazards, and to protect surrounding properties from <br />same. <br />The ordinance is further intended to provide a convenience to <br />the County's residents in safe construction of buildings without <br />violating applicable statutes or building codes. <br />
