POLICY <br />ACTION 1 LANDSCAPING ORDINANCE AMENDMENTS <br />BRIEF DESCRIPTION/PUR -POST✓ <br />An amendment is proposed for Section IV -B -S of the Subdivision Regulations to: 1) clarify the <br />interpretation of the Schedule of Land Use Buffers as it relates to unzoned land; and-2) extend <br />the waiver provisions to apply to all landscape requirements. <br />STATUS <br />Present at the February 26 public hearing and March 19 Planning Board meeting. Will be on <br />the agenda for BOCC approval April 17, 1990. <br />ATTA HME T <br />None <br />ACTION S OPTIONAL CONCEPT PLAN FOR MINOR SUBDIVISIONS <br />BRIEF DESCRIPTION /PURPOSE <br />An amendment is proposed for Section III -C -I of the Subdivision Regulations to make submittal <br />of a Concept Plan optional instead of mandatory. <br />The proposal is being recommended for public hearing on May 29, 1990. The advertisement for <br />public hearing items will be presented for approval by the Board of Commissioners on May 1, <br />1990. <br />ATTACHMENT <br />Attachment # 7 - Proposed amendment. <br />ACTION 3 MAJOR /MINOR BREAKPOINT FOR SUBDIVISIONS <br />BRIEF DESCRIPTION PURPOSE <br />An amendment is proposed to the Subdivision Regulations to allow subdivisions containing less <br />than 10 lots to be approved by Planning staff through the Minor Subdivision process. <br />Currently, only those subdivisions with less than 6 lots are approved by staf f. This would allow <br />a larger number of subdivisions to be approved through simplified procedures. <br />5 <br />
