HALKICJTIS <br />JOHN HARTWELL <br />SHIRLEY E- MARSHALL <br />DON WILLHOIT P R O C L A M A T I O N <br />SOCIAL SERVICES EMPLOYEES APPRECIATION WEEK <br />WHEREAS, Social Services Employees administer a wide range of <br />service programs designed to provide Orange County <br />citizens basic resources and social work services to <br />maximize their well -being and self determination; <br />and, <br />WHEREAS, Social Services Employees act on behalf of all <br />citizens to prevent abuse, neglect, and exploitation <br />of children and disabled adults, and when <br />necessary, intervene to protect them; and, <br />WHEREAS, Social Services Employees are caring professionals <br />who are committed to serving Orange County citizens <br />in a compassionate, confidential manner; and, <br />WHEREAS, Orange County wishes to set aside a special week to <br />recognize the vital contributions of Social Services <br />Employees in Orange County; and, <br />NOW THEREFORE, We, the Orange County Board of Commissioners <br />proclaim April 23, 1990 through April 27, 1990 <br />as "Social Services Employees Appreciation <br />Week" in Orange County, and urge all citizens <br />to join us in honoring our Social Services <br />Employees. <br />GIVEN UNDER MY HAND AND THE SEAL OF THE <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ON THIS THE TWENTY - <br />THIRD DAY OF APRIL IN THE YEAR OF OUR <br />LORD, NINETEEN HUNDRED AND NINETY. <br />Moses Carey, Jr. <br />Orange County Board of Commissioners <br />2 <br />
