Fa <br />RESOLUTION <br />WHEREAS, Orange County desires to dispose of surplus property <br />in a manner prescribed by North Carolina State Law, <br />WHEREAS, Orange County has determined that private sale <br />would be the most equitable method to dispose of the <br />1974 Chevrolet truck and the typewriter; and sealed <br />bid would be the most equitable way to dispose of the <br />surplus telephone equipment, <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT: <br />The Orange County Board of Commissioners do authorize <br />the Director of Purchasing and Central Services to <br />negotiate and sell at the stated prices, the 1974 <br />Chevrolet truck currently being used by the Hazardous <br />Materials Team; and the typewriter, serial ## 3394491; <br />and to receive sealed bids on surplus telephone <br />equipment. <br />FURTHERMORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT: <br />The Orange County Board of Commissioners do hereby <br />authorize the Director of Purchasing and Central <br />Services to sign over the title of the 1974 Chevrolet <br />Truck to the Town of Chapel Hill and do hereby <br />authorize the Director of Purchasing and Central <br />Services to make the necessary adjustments in inventory <br />items listed. <br />4 <br />
