The System will be used for file management, file storage <br />and recreation of Land Record Books. The System will be comprised <br />of two (2) stand alone workstations consisting of; a CPU, monitor, <br />scanner, optical disk drive and a laser printer. Proposals were <br />solicited for the System. Proposals were received from five <br />vendors. A tabulation of the proposals is attached.. Due to the <br />nature of the equipment and recurring costs proposals were <br />evaluated over a five year period. <br />GENESYS DATA TECHNOLOGIES, INC. submitted the lowest responsible <br />proposal that met specifications at a first year cost of $88,881.00 <br />and a five year cost of $120,881.00. Board action will be <br />necessary at the next meeting to appropriate funds from.the County <br />Capital Reserve Fund to the Information Networking Project to <br />cover first year costs. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Award the low proposal of GENESYS for a first year cost of <br />$88,881.00. <br />
