Update and implement the recommendations of the Chapel Hill - <br />Carrboro Signalization Study to purchase and install <br />improved signal equipment in the two towns and add left turn <br />signals and actuated signals where necessary. <br />2. Installation of an actuated signal at the intersection of <br />Old Fayetteville Road (SR 1937) and Jones Ferry Road (SR <br />1005). <br />3. Installation of an actuated signal at the intersection of <br />Old Fayetteville Road (SR 1937) and NC 54. <br />4. Left turn signal at westbound Main Street onto South <br />Greensboro Street. <br />5. Installation of an actuated signal at the intersection of NC- <br />54 and West Poplar Avenue. <br />6. Installation of an actuated signal at the intersection of <br />Main Street and Jones Ferry Road with a signal head added <br />for the PTA Thrift Shop. A pedestrian signal with a beeper <br />should be added as well. <br />7. Installation of an actuated signal at BPW Club Road and <br />Smith Level Road. <br />8. Installation of an activated signal and pedestrian crossing <br />from Woodbridge to Willow Creek Shopping Center <br />9. Add a pedestrian crossing on North Greensboro Street at Carr <br />Mill Mall and Poplar Avenue. <br />i :s4A- i <br />URBAN - <br />1. Construct a bike path from Jones Ferry Road to Carr Street <br />next to the PTA Thrift Shop. <br />2. Construct a bike path from North Greensboro Street to Main <br />Street going along the Southern Railway property east of <br />Carr Mill Mall. <br />3. Include bikelanes on Estes Drive from the Carrboro Town <br />Limits to North Greensboro Street, as an incidental project, <br />and coordinate this project with project listed in State TIP <br />for Estes Drive from Airport Road to Town Limits in Chapel <br />Hill. <br />23 <br />
