2/19/90 <br />E. Extra Duty /Extra Pay <br />This component of the program is designed to provide teachers with increased <br />recognition for required instructional leadership roles. For these extra duties, teachers <br />will receive additional pay. <br />The Extra Duty positions of mentor and cooperating teacher will bp funded at the <br />system level. <br />990 -1991 Extra Duty /Extra Pay funds will be allocated to each school in amounts as <br />follows (based on funds available): <br />Orange High - $17,000 <br />C.W. Stanford - $10,000 <br />A.L. Stanback - $7,000 <br />G.A. Brown - $8,000 <br />Efland Cheeks - $7,000 <br />Central Elementary - $7,000 <br />Cameron Park - $7,000 <br />These funds must be used for Extra Duty /Extra Pay. Exact positions, persons and <br />amounts are to be determined at the school level by a committee of teachers and <br />administrators. <br />For 1991 -1992, the allocation for Extra Duty /Extra Pay received by each <br />school will be modified as necessary. <br />The following guidelines apply to all Extra Duty /Extra Pay positions: <br />1. All eligible teachers may apply for Extra Duty/Extra Pay. Applications, lob <br />descriptions, and evaluation instruments for extra duty positions are to fie <br />secured from Principals. However, extra duty positions not previously funded <br />must have application forms, job descriptions and evaluation instruments <br />developed at the school level. Positions funded in prior years have the above <br />mentioned and can be secured from Personnel. <br />' Samples from prior years may be used. Principals make recommendations to <br />Superintendent. <br />2. All Status Levels may apply for extra duty pay. <br />Priority order: Career Status III, Career Status II, and Career Status I. <br />3. All personnel selected for extra duty assignments will receive a summative <br />evaluation of their performance in that assignment which is separate and <br />' apart from their evaluation in their primary job assignment. <br />iF. Professional Growth <br />All Grange County Schools Instructional, Instructional Support and Administrators <br />will complete a Professional Development Plan. <br />
