I. FLEXIBLE FUNDING WITHOUT SPECIFIC REQUESTS <br />All school systems participating in the Performance -based Accountability <br />Program will have the following categories consolidated: instructional materials; <br />supplies and equipment; textbooks; testing support and driver education <br />(excluding teacher months of employment and matching benefits) consolidated. <br />No specific request will be required. <br />11. REQUESTS FOR FLEXIBLE FUNDING <br />The total amount requested for flexible funding is $5,102,405.00. The following <br />allotment categories represent the requested amount: <br />1. Funds from all vacancies <br />$1,431,215.00 <br />2. Existing BEP Funds and funds targeted for 1990- 1,820,224.00 <br />93 from program enhancement, instructional <br />support, clerical assistant, assistant superintendent <br />positions <br />3. Staff development funds <br />4. Funds for textbooks, equipment and supplies, <br />instructional materials, and testing support <br />5. BEP summer school funds <br />6.
