TOTAL IMPACT <br />When the BEP is fully implemented, and that will come <br />during the 1992 -93 school year, its total impact will be: <br />- 11,048 new teachers <br />- 6,500 teacher assistants <br />- 3,500 instructional support personnel (nurses, <br />counselors, social workers, psychologists <br />and media specialists) <br />- 2,304 clerks and secretaries <br />- 361 assistant principals <br />- 264 assistant and associate superintendents <br />- 132 vocational education teachers <br />- 110 supervisors <br />895 in- school suspension teachers, dropout <br />prevention and /or job placement specialists <br />100 finance officers <br />Altogether, the BEP will add 25,014 new teachers, support <br />personnel and administrators. <br />9 <br />
