3 <br />The Standard Course of Study shall be available to all students kindergarten through <br />grade twelve and required of all students through grade five. In Grades 6 -8, students will <br />continue the Standard Course of Study but may have choices in three areas. In the arts, all four <br />disciplines will be available with students being required to take at least one each year. Second <br />language studies (Grades 6 -8) and vocational education (Grades 7 -8) will be available to all <br />students but not required. <br />
