I would like the <br /> opportunity to continue supporting the implementation of the Mountains to the Sea trail. <br /> Conflict of Interest: <br /> Historic Preservation Commission (APPLICANTS SHALL RESIDE WITHIN THE TERRITORIAL <br /> Background, education and experience relevant to this board: <br /> I have been photographing historical structures throughout Orange County for many years. <br /> Attended 2015 Vernacular Architecture Forum annual conference to learn more about the formal <br /> methods of historical preservation. <br /> Reasons for wanting to serve on this board: <br /> An extra-curricular passion <br /> Conflict of Interest: <br /> Supplemental Questions: <br /> Durham Technical Community College Board of Trustees <br /> What improvements do you believe can be made so that DTCC better serves the <br /> residents of Orange County? <br /> I don't know enough as an outsider to recommend improvements. However, I can say that <br /> through my work with the vocational training program at Chapel Hill Carrboro City Schools, I do <br /> think there could be a closer working relationship between Orange County's public schools and <br /> Durham Tech. I'd also like to see a close working relationship with the Economic Development <br /> Office if it doesn't already exist. Finally, I would like to see greater emphasis placed on adult <br /> basic literacy.
