Orange Public Transportation (OPT) Mid-day Connector Route Fee Waiver for "Try <br /> 19 Transit" Campaign <br /> 20 The Board considered approving the waiver of all rider fees for OPT's Mid-day Connector Route <br /> 21 during the week of October 23 through 28, 2017 in support of the "Try Transit" Campaign led by <br /> 22 the Healthy Carolinians' Access Committee. <br /> 23 <br /> 24 Commissioner Price asked if the times of the waiver, for this promotion, could be <br /> 25 identified, and if it could be expanded to all day. <br /> 26 Theo Letman, Transit Director, said it will be for the entire Hill-to-Hill route. He said the <br /> 27 circulator service already has no fare. He said this will be all day, for that week. <br /> 28 <br /> 29 A motion was made by Commissioner Price, seconded by Commissioner Rich to <br /> 30 approve the waiver of all rider fees for OPT's Mid-day Connector Route during the week of <br /> 31 October 23 through 28, 2017 in support of the "Try Transit" Campaign led by the Healthy <br /> 32 Carolinians' Access Committee. <br /> 33 <br /> 34 VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> 35 <br /> 36 a. Pass-Through Agreement for the Allocation, Disbursement and Accounting of Section <br /> 38 5310 (Elderly and Individuals with Disabilities) Funds <br /> 39 The Board approved the Pass-Through Agreement submitted by the City of Durham for the <br /> 40 Federal Transit Administration funding that Orange County has been awarded to support the <br /> 41 Department on Aging's Mobility Management project for the Allocation, Disbursement and <br /> 42 Accounting of the Section 5310 Funds and authorize the Chair to sign the Agreement. <br /> 43 d. 401 Valley Forge Road Property Lease Modification — Builders FirstSource <br /> 44 The Board: 1) approved a Lease Modification to Builders FirstSource that provides a 10 year <br /> 45 lease extension with two 5 year renewal options for County owned property located at 401 <br /> 46 Valley Forge Road, Hillsborough; and 2) authorized the Chair to execute the Resolution for <br /> 47 Lease and the Lease Modification upon final review of the County Attorney. <br /> 48 <br /> 49 Chair Dorosin asked if the scheduled closed session is time sensitive, or can it be <br /> 50 deferred to another time. <br />
