Additions or Changes to the Agenda <br /> 25 Chair Dorosin noted the following items at the Commissioners' places: <br /> 26 - Item 4-a: Orange County Arts Commission 2017-18 Grant Recipients <br /> 27 - PowerPoint for item 6-a: Review of Affordable Housing Bond Scoring Criteria <br /> 28 - PowerPoint and hand out for Item 7-a: Mountains to Sea Trail — Report on Segment 11 Trail <br /> 29 Planning <br /> 30 - PowerPoint for Item 7-b: Quarterly Update on Durham-Orange Light Rail Project Status <br /> 31 <br /> 32 <br /> 33 PUBLIC CHARGE <br /> 34 Chair Dorosin dispensed with the reading of the Pubic Charge. <br /> 35 <br /> 36 2. Public Comments <br /> 37 <br /> 38 a. Matters not on the Printed Agenda <br /> 39 Jim Merritt said he is the co-chair of the Veterans Memorial committee and he <br /> 40 thanked the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) for its contribution of$15,000. He <br /> 41 said the first construction phase has been completed, and the objective is to pay-as-they- <br /> 42 go, so that upon completion there will be no debt. He invited the Board of County <br /> 43 Commissioners to join the Committee on November 10th for its Veterans Day event at <br /> 44 11:00 a.m. <br /> 45 Commissioner Rich asked if there is an update regarding fundraising. <br /> 46 Jim Merritt said about $30,000 total has been raised, and the total goal is <br /> 47 $500,000 for the completion of the memorial. <br /> 48 <br /> 49 b.
