I. BACKGROUND <br /> The CHAPEL HILL-CARRBORO PUBLIC SCHOOL SYSTEM ("CHCCS")in <br /> ORANGE COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA_is requesting proposals from appropriately <br /> highly qualified, licensed agencies/providers to provide the following mental and behavioral <br /> health services to CHCCS students: <br /> • Comprehensive clinical assessments <br /> • Individual therapy <br /> • Group therapy <br /> • Family therapy <br /> • Medication management <br /> • On-site training and consultation <br /> Successful providers/agencies must have the capacity to establish in-school access to <br /> clinical outpatient treatment services and be capable of providing mental health services <br /> at varying levels of intensity, based on the individualized needs of the students. <br /> Successful agencies/providers will be expected to enter into a"Program and Facility <br /> Use Agreement"with CHCCS outlining the terms and conditions under which <br /> CHCCS will allow the provider/agency to access CHCCS property to provide services <br /> to CHCCS students. <br /> Providers submitting an RFP must be in "Good Standing" with DHHS as defined in <br /> 10A NCAC 22P.0402 and with Cardinal Innovation Management Organization- <br /> LME/MCO as outlined in current Endorsement Policy, #LME 102. Revised date <br /> 3/7/2014 <br /> CHCCS will provide a counseling-friendly space (confidential, non-stigmatizing <br /> environment)within each selected school. Mental Health services will be available and <br /> accessible for all eligible students. All financial obligations related to the provision of <br /> mental and behavioral health services will be the responsibility of the provider. <br /> A.
