57 <br /> Mountains to Sea Trail (MST) — Segment 11 Master Plan Project <br /> Community Meeting #2 -Agenda <br /> September 19, 2016 <br /> 7:00 —9:30 pm <br /> Maple View Agricultural Education Center <br /> 3501 Dairy land Road, Hillsborough, NC <br /> 7:00 Convene <br /> • Welcome by facilitator <br /> • Facilitator orients the assembly: provides overview of his role for the <br /> evening, the desired outcomes, agenda, and forum guidelines. <br /> 7:20 Clarification of and Ideas for Addressing Concerns Raised <br /> Six stations will be set up around the room or in classrooms; each devoted to one <br /> of the priority topics: <br /> • Land acquisition, trail easements, and eminent domain <br /> • Fire protection, personal safety, and managing trail use <br /> • Liability and insurance <br /> • Maintaining residents' privacy and rural character <br /> • Water quality in the Cane Creek watershed <br /> • Trail corridor and alternate routes <br /> Attendees may visit as many stations as they like for as long as they like, in <br /> whatever order they like. Every 20 minutes the facilitator will call out the time, to <br /> help pace the conversations at the stations and to support those who might be <br /> trying to visit all six stations in the two-hour timeframe. <br /> 9:10 Wrap Up <br /> All attendees will be invited to return to the main room to share informally their <br /> impressions from their respective station visits, to hear the County's plans for the <br /> next steps in its process, and to raise ideas for any additional <br /> information/conversations that might be needed. <br /> 9:30 Adjourn <br />
