It was <br /> • explained that the document was to be made available for public information on Wednesday <br /> June 8,as part of the DCHC public information process related to the MPO consideration of the <br /> Durham and Orange County financial plans being developed by Triangle Transit Authority. <br /> The Committee voted unanimously to share the following comments: <br /> 1. The title of the document should be changed to read, 'Bus and Rail Investment Plan in <br /> Orange County" <br /> 2. The following statement should be included on the cover of the plan in bold type: <br /> "The"concept of the Bus and Rail Investment Plan for Orange County was supported <br /> through resolutions approved by the Chapel Hill Town Council (Resolution#2011- <br /> 05-25/R1),the Carrboro Board of Aldermen (Resolution#129/2010-11) and via letter <br /> from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. <br /> The DRAFT document provided for public input by the DCHC has not been reviewed <br /> by the Town of Chapel Hill,the Town of Carrboro,or The University of North <br /> Carolina at Chapel Hill either individually or together as the Chapel Hill Transit Public <br /> Transit Committee. <br /> DCHC and Triangle Transit do not make representation that these bodies support <br /> this detailed document." <br /> • <br />
