ORANGE COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />ACTION AGENDA ITEM ABSTRACT <br />Meeting Date: .June 27, 2006 <br />Action Agenda <br />Item No. ~- (~- <br />SUBJECT: Change in BOCC Regular Meeting Schedule <br />DEPARTMENT: County Commissioners PUBLIC HEARING: (Y/N) No <br />ATTACHMENT (S): <br />NO <br />INFORMATION CONTACT: <br />Donna Baker, 245-2130 <br />PURPOSE: To consider one change in the County Commissioners' regular meeting calendar <br />for year 2006. <br />BACKGROUND: Pursuant to North Carolina General Statute 153A-40, the Board of County <br />Commissioners must fix the time and place of its meetings or provide a notice of any change in <br />the Regular Meeting Schedule. <br />The Board will consider changing the Quarterly Public Hearing to a Work Session on Monday, <br />August 28, 2006 and to change the location from the F. Gordon Battle Courtroom to the <br />Government Services Center in Hillsborough, N.C. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: NONE <br />RECOMMENDATION (S): The Manager recommends that the Board amend their regular <br />meeting calendar by changing changing the Quarterly Public Hearing to a Work Session on <br />Monday, August 28, 2006 and to change the location from the F, Gordon Battle Courtroom to <br />the Government Services Center in Hillsborough, N,C, <br />
