Funding is secured to continue work of Administration for Community Living Dementia Capable <br /> Community grant,which ends September 2018. <br /> 5.1.3b. More people are aware of and attend the Dementia 101 trainings, Memory Cafés, and Memory <br /> Cafés on the Move. <br /> 5.1.3c. An on-going volunteer group for recruiting businesses and providing Dementia Friendly Business <br /> training is created. <br /> 5.1.3d. More caregivers are referred to and served each year by the OCDOA. <br /> 5.1.3e. Strategies and supports are developed for individuals living alone with dementia. <br /> RESPONSIBLE AGENCIES: OCDOA, in partnership with agencies that provide assistance to older adults <br /> (EMS, Orange Congregations in Mission [OCIM], Inter-Faith Council [IFC], Chapel Hill-Carrboro Meals on <br /> Wheels, SALT, hospital systems) and Chapel Hill and Hillsborough Chambers of Commerce, and with <br /> support from Towns of Chapel Hill, Carrboro, and Hillsborough <br /> e, y R.1.4. Improve accessibility within the senior centers. <br /> INDICATORS <br /> 5.1.4a. OCDOA staff is trained on accessibility issues and resources. <br /> 5.1.4b. Funding is secured by OCDOA/Orange County Asset Management Services (OCAMS) to <br /> implement needed improvements as identified in the county's accessibility checklist. <br /> 5.1.4c. OCDOA staff work with groups who are navigating the senior centers to learn what is <br /> problematic. <br /> 5.1.4d.
