Existing public spaces are reviewed for compliance with Americans with Disabilities Act(ADA) <br /> standards and feedback is provided to county and town Planning Boards. <br /> 1.3.1b. New design regulations and standards are created as needed. <br /> 1.3.1c. In historic districts or circumstances where it is not feasible to provide ADA access per code, <br /> alternative means of ensuring access to structures and safe places to cross streets (e.g., move street <br /> crossings to other areas, wayfinding for disability access) are sought by towns. <br /> RESPONSIBLE AGENCIES: Orange County and town Planning Departments, Orange County Disability <br /> Awareness Council <br /> C, y. m." m , Foster partnerships between public and private agencies to improve public <br /> infrastructure. <br /> INDICATORS <br /> 1.3.2a.
