The petitions and responses are listed below: <br /> 1) Review and consider a request by Commissioner McKee, echoed by Commissioners Jacobs and <br /> Dorosin, that although the BRIP Update will not be available, request that GoTriangle still plan to send <br /> representatives to 2/16/17 work session to address questions and share reasons for the delay. <br /> Response: GoTriangle representatives to be at February 16th meeting to address delay and selection of <br /> light rail versus BRT. <br /> 2) Review and consider a request by Commissioner Marcoplos that the Board follow-up quickly on his <br /> previous petition to adopt a resolution regarding HB2 impacts and send it to the Governor and NC <br /> General Assembly and newspapers. <br /> Response: Chair Dorosin indicated during the meeting a plan to send a letter to the Governor and <br /> General Assembly and newspapers noting details of the impact of HB2; staff to develop draft letter for <br /> Chair review. <br /> 3) Review and consider a request by Commissioner Jacobs that the Board request that staff provide a report <br /> to the Board on where senior staff currently reside. <br /> Response: Staff(Brenda Bartholomew) to provide information. <br /> 4) Review and consider a request by by Commissioner Jacobs that the Board review how it handles agenda <br /> business and consider addressing public items before internal items. <br /> Response: To be discussed at 2/16/17 work session. <br /> 5) Review and consider a request by Commissioner Jacobs that the Board ask the County Attorney to <br /> investigate whether the Board can consider and adopt a bicycle helmet ordinance for bikers on public <br /> roads. <br /> Response: County Attorney to provide follow-up information as part of County Attorney's Report. <br /> 6) Review and consider a request by Commissioner Price that staff review bus service to the Fairview <br /> community and to the Gateway Center/West Campus. <br /> Response: Staff to review. <br />
