<br /> Section and Land Quality Section, having completed several solid waste engineering, permitting
<br /> and operations support projects throughout the state.
<br /> Nick Guarriello, PE joined SCS' Richmond, VA office in 2009 and is responsible for working on
<br /> environmental engineering projects related to Clean Air Act permitting, compliance, regulatory
<br /> reporting, as well as landfill gas modeling and pollutant emission inventories at solid waste
<br /> management facilities. His work efforts have focused on landfill and landfill gas (LFG) studies,
<br /> control system design and construction, LFG system operations, regulatory reporting, permitting,
<br /> and monitoring projects. Mr. Guarriello has been involved with LFG control and remediation
<br /> projects throughout Virginia and North Carolina.
<br /> Bob Isenberg, PE, CPG is a Senior Vice President with over 40 years of consulting experience in
<br /> geotechnical/civil engineering projects involving design, analysis, testing, permitting,
<br /> construction, remediation and repair of solid waste facilities, retaining structures including dams,
<br /> mine tailing basins, MSE walls and earthen berms, reservoirs, buildings including power plants,
<br /> commercial and residential housing and soil and groundwater contamination studies. He has
<br /> extensive experience with design of bottom liner and leachate collection systems, final covers,
<br /> subsurface investigation, slope stability and settlement analysis, and redevelopment of older
<br /> landfills.
<br /> Mike Kalish, PE, LEED AP is SCS's National Partner for Transfer Stations, Mr. Kalish has been
<br /> the Project Manager for several major transfer station renovations and expansions and new
<br /> facilities across the country and especially in the Mid-Atlantic region. Additionally, he has
<br /> worked on a variety of engineering projects involving LFG, LFG-to-energy, landfill closure, and
<br /> sub-slab mitigation design for brownfields remediation. Prior to joining SCS, Mr. Kalish was the
<br /> Solid Waste Engineer for San Joaquin County, California where he was responsible for the
<br /> operational oversight of two transfer stations, two open landfills, and two closed landfills. Mr.
<br /> Kalish is also an instructor for the SWANA Managing Transfer Stations course and is a LEED
<br /> Accredited Professional.
<br /> Brandon King is a Senior Project Scientist based in SCS' Richmond, Virginia office since 2006.
<br /> His work efforts have focused on landfill and landfill gas (LFG) study, design, permitting,
<br /> monitoring, and construction projects. Mr. King has performed and assisted in over 50 LFG
<br /> control and remediation projects in Virginia,North Carolina, Russia, and India, including
<br /> projects focused on LFG migration control and odor/emissions regulatory control. He also has a
<br /> variety of experience with landfill construction quality assurance (CQA), groundwater
<br /> monitoring, environmental services/storage tanks, and RCRA investigations.
<br /> Steve Lamb, PE is a civil engineer and has been providing solid waste engineering and consulting
<br /> services for over 27 years. Mr. Lamb has been with SCS for over 17 years and is a Vice
<br /> President who manages the Charlotte,NC office and oversees most solid waste engineering work
