<br /> 2 STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
<br /> This section presents SCS' qualifications and experience in Solid Waste Management
<br /> Consulting, Engineering, Planning, and Environmental Monitoring, and specifically in technical
<br /> areas related to this RFQ including, but not limited to, landfill gas (LFG)management and air
<br /> quality permit compliance, landfill engineering, construction administration and CQA
<br /> certifications, landfill closure and post-closure care, transfer station and convenience center
<br /> design and operations, material recovery facilities and recycling programs, composting and
<br /> yardwaste processing facilities, solid waste program planning and management, solid waste
<br /> program rates and budgets, fleet management and collections, groundwater/surface
<br /> water/leachate sampling and reporting, financial assurance, training, engineering evaluations and
<br /> hydrogeological assessments, permit amendments and compliance, economic analyses, public
<br /> meetings and presentations, and other solid waste engineering and environmental consulting.
<br /> Included herein are summaries of SCS' background, and our capabilities and experience.
<br /> Selected profiles of relevant and recent solid waste projects are included in Appendix A. We
<br /> believe that this information demonstrates SCS' broad background and specialized expertise in
<br /> the Solid Waste Industry, as well as our long history and expertise in areas related to Orange
<br /> County's recycling, sanitation and landfill needs.
