26 <br /> 1 Commissioner Jacobs said the GoTriangle Representative at the MPO meeting <br /> 2 tomorrow is former Commissioner Pelissier, and someone needs to contact her with this <br /> 3 updated information. <br /> 4 Commissioner McKee agreed with Commissioner Jacobs, but said the new appointee <br /> 5 needs to be sworn in prior to the MPO meeting. <br /> 6 Donna Baker said the BOD meeting is at noon, and the new appointee could be sworn <br /> 7 in at that time. She said someone would need to contact former Commissioner Pelissier to <br /> 8 communicate the change made this evening, and there would not be a GoTriangle <br /> 9 representative at the MPO meeting tomorrow morning. <br /> 10 Commissioner Jacobs agreed, and said there is no guarantee that the BOD would <br /> 11 appoint the BOCC member to the MPO. <br /> 12 <br /> 13 A motion was made by Commissioner Price, seconded by Commissioner Marcoplos to <br /> 14 appoint Commissioner Jacobs to the GoTriangle BOD for the remainder of 2016 and all of <br /> 15 2017. <br /> 16 <br /> 17 Commissioner Jacobs said Commissioner Marcoplos had also expressed an interest, <br /> 18 and he would like to insure that he is accepting of Commissioner Jacobs taking this position. <br /> 19 Commissioner Marcoplos said he was approached a few months ago about serving on <br /> 20 the GoTriangle Board, and while he is willing, he said Commissioner Jacobs would be the best <br /> 21 representative. <br /> 22 Commissioner McKee said he appreciated Commissioner Marcoplos being flexible, and <br /> 23 putting the interest of the Board above his own. <br /> 24 <br /> 25 VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> 26 <br /> 27 Commissioner Jacobs asked the Board to send questions to him before 8:30 a.m. <br /> 28 tomorrow. <br /> 29 Chair Dorosin said to make sure that Commissioner Jacobs has a copy of the last <br /> 30 resolution passed, which contains points of concerns. She said this is <br /> 43 the first publication of its kind in Orange County, but will now be updated annually.
