This will allow me to bring fresh <br /> ideas to the board and a different energy; I imagine there aren t many young members. I have <br /> lived in Orange county my entire life, and I know what people like and don t like about a lot of the <br /> county, and I know what many would accept and not accept. Plus, since I ve grown up here, I <br /> love this county and I will fight development which won t benefit the people. <br /> Reasons for wanting to serve on this board: <br /> In my classes I've been learning about the characteristics of a well designed urban environments <br /> and how this improves the quality of life for residents of such an area. I would like to join the <br /> Planning Board to try and implement some of these ideas and create the best urban <br /> environment possible. My desire also stems from interest in how urban planning is actually <br /> decided and implemented.
