2 <br /> FINANCIAL IMPACT: The purchase price of the new Compact Loader along with <br /> recommended options is $131,145. The debt finance purchase of the Compact Loader was <br /> included in the adopted 2016-17 Solid Waste Budget, and if approved, will be part of the Spring <br /> 2017 financing package. <br /> Proceeds from the sale of the replaced Compact Loader, less any applicable fees, will be <br /> returned to the Solid Waste Management Department enterprise fund. <br /> SOCIAL JUSTICE IMPACT: There is no Orange County Social Justice Goal impact associated <br /> with the purchase of these trucks. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board approve awarding the <br /> bid of one (1) Compact Loader from Gregory Poole Equipment at a delivered cost of $131,145. <br /> The Manager also recommends that the Board: 1) declare the existing Compact Loader #429 <br /> surplus after receipt of the new Compact Loader and 2) authorize the Asset Management <br /> Services Director to affect the sale of the surplus Loader through GovDeals. <br />
