The petitions and responses are listed below: <br /> 1) Review and consider a request by Commissioner Jacobs that the County pursue establishing a joint <br /> planning group with Carrboro to review/plan development on Carrboro's western border. <br /> Response: Manager to consult with Carrboro Manager. <br /> 2) Review and consider a by Commissioner Pelissier that the Board establish some format for <br /> Board members who attend conferences to provide follow-up informational reports to other <br /> Board members. <br /> Response: Staff to develop draft format for Board review. <br /> 3) Review and consider a request by Commissioner Rich that Community Relations work with the <br /> Sheriff's Office to make the online complaint feature more visible. <br /> Response: Staff to work with Sheriff's Office to bring greater attention to online complaint <br /> feature. <br /> 4) Review and consider a request by Commissioner Rich that staff review the opportunities to plan <br /> for solar pre-wiring of all new buildings as a standard feature, including contacting the Town of <br /> Apex and others about their efforts. <br /> Response: Staff to follow-up. <br /> 5) Review and consider a request by Commissioner Rich that Community Relations meet with both <br /> school systems public information officers to help ensure the County and Board members are <br /> aware of all school events and ceremonies. <br /> Response: Staff to work with school systems public info officers; Clerk to the Board to be added <br /> to school emails groups. <br /> 6) Review and consider a request by Commissioner Price that the Board consider a resolution in <br /> support of the Equal Rights Amendment at an upcoming meeting. <br /> Response: Item included on 11/15/16 agenda. <br />
