The study <br /> should also seek to identify methods of financing the <br /> purchase and the most critical land areas for <br /> acquisition. <br /> The following revisions to proposed ordinance wording <br /> were also recommended for approval: <br /> 1 . Amend the proposed Article 6.25 . 7 to read as <br /> follows : <br /> Every principal use and every lot within a <br /> subdivision shall be served by a water supply and <br /> sewage disposal system that is adequate to <br /> accommodate the needs of such use or subdivision <br /> lot and that complies with all applicable <br /> regulations of the Orange County Health Department. <br /> Notwithstanding the above provisions, water supply <br /> and sewage treatment systems shall be limited to <br /> individual wells and on-site septic systems or <br /> individual on-site alternative disposal systems . <br /> "On-site" shall mean that no system will be <br /> permitted where effluent disposal occurs on a <br /> separate lot from the source of wastewater <br /> generation. The use of community alternative <br /> wastewater disposal systems and public water and <br /> sewer service is restricted as specified in Article <br /> 6 . 15 .2 .a. of this Ordinance. <br /> No new septic tanks and their nitrification fields <br /> shall be located within a designated stream buffer <br /> zone or within one hundred ( 100) feet of a <br /> perennial or intermittent stream as shown on the <br /> USGS quadrangle maps for Orange County, whichever <br /> is the greater distance. <br /> 2 . Amend the proposed Article 6. 15.2 to read as <br /> follows: <br /> a. University Lake Watershed <br /> 1 . Area Affected - These standards shall <br /> apply to the University Lake Watershed. <br /> 2 . Nature and Duration of Standards - The <br /> following interim development standards <br /> shall apply: <br /> a) Community alternative treatment and <br /> disposal systems as <br /> water and sewer service will not be <br /> permitted in the University Lake <br /> watershed except to address a p ubli- <br />
