REIMER, HEALTH DIRECTOR 10"61 <br /> DATE: FEBRUARY 22, 1990 <br /> RE: CARDENS MOBILE HOME PARK <br /> • <br /> Pursuant to our telephone conversation of February 21, 1990 <br /> regarding the Commissioner's request for the Health Director <br /> to study the effluent leaving Cardens Mobile Home Park, I <br /> wish to report to you the following actions that I have <br /> taken: <br /> 1. I have conferred with Tony Laws, Paul Thames, <br /> Malcomb Blalock, Assistant Chief of the <br /> Environmental Health Services Division, Arthur <br /> Mouberry, Regional Supervisor in the Division of <br /> Environmental Management regarding this current <br /> status of action taken at Gardens Mobile Home Park. <br /> 2. I have ascertained some of the criteria necessary <br /> for me to take action under General Statues <br /> 130 A-19. Abatement of Public Health Nuisance. <br /> • <br /> 3. I have scheduled a site meeting at the Cardens <br /> Mobile Park to include Arthur Mouberry, Paul Thames, <br /> Tony Laws and myself. At that time; we will inspect <br /> the current functioning of the existing treatment <br /> plant, sample the effluent, review the test results <br /> of previous samples, and look over the plans for the <br /> proposed new treatment plant. <br /> Following that inspection and review of the evidence I will <br /> be in a position to determine whether the conditions will <br /> warrant issuing an abatement order. <br /> SOUTHERN ORANGE OFFICE: Carr MITI Mall, Suite 225, 100 N.Greensboro St., Carrboro,N.C.27510.
