ORANGE COUNTY SUED VISION REGULATIONS <br /> O 8 <br /> The proposed amendments to the Orange County Subdivision Regulations are as follows: <br /> 1. A proposal to permit cluster developments in the University Lake Watershed (ULW) <br /> District to have a minimum lot size of one acre with an overall density of one <br /> dwelling unit per five acres of land. <br /> 2. A proposal to establish a new set of temporary development standards applicable in <br /> University Lake Watershed. The standards would be identical to those described above <br /> for inclusion in the Zoning Ordinance. <br /> 3. A proposal to require that impervious surface data, stream buffers, and stormwater <br /> detention and/or retention sites be shown on a preliminary subdivision plat and <br /> recorded in a separate document with the final plat. <br /> Amendments to the Land Use Element of the Orange County Comprehensive Plan, and the <br /> Orange County-Chapel Hill-Carrboro Joint Planning Area Land Use Plan and Joint Planning <br /> Agreement are also being proposed which will add descriptions of the University Lake <br /> Watershed Area and the recommended protection strategies. <br /> Questions regarding specific lots or land parcels and the affect of the proposed <br /> amendments may be directed to the Orange County Planning Department located in the Orange <br /> County Agricultural & Environmental Center, 306F Revere Road, Hillsborough, North Carolina. <br /> Office hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
