35
PROPOSED ORDINANCE AMENDMENT
ORDINANCE: SUBDIVISION REGULATIONS
REFERENCE: SECTION III-D-1-b PLANNING DEPARTMENT REVIEW
PROCEDURES (MAJOR SUBDIVISION CONCEPT PLAN)
ORIGIN OF AMENDMENT: x Staff Planning Board
BOCC Public
Other:
STAFF PRIORITY RECOMMENDATION: x High Middle Low
Comment:
EXPECTED PUBLIC HEARING DATE: February 26, 1990
PURPOSE OF AMENDMENT: To provide adequate time for staff
review of major subdivision Concept Plans.
IMPACTS/ISSUES:
The Subdivision Regulations require that Concept Plans for
major subdivisions be presented to the Planning Board within
45 days of acceptance of the application. . This
would at a minimum allow 2 weeks for review of the project,
and two weeks for preparation and distribution of the agenda
abstract.
The maximum amount of time between acceptance of the
application and submittal to the Planning Board would be
about 60 days.
EXISTING AND PROPOSED ORDINANCE PROVISIONS:
III-D-1-b. Planning Department Review Procedures
Upon receipt of the Concept Plan, the Planning
Department shall review the proposal for general
compliance with the requirements of this Ordinance
and the Zoning Ordinance, if applicable.
