(Boland out of the room during this <br /> vote. ) <br /> (3) Article 7 . 14 .4 - Density Bonus for <br /> Affordable Housing <br /> Presentation by Marvin Collins. <br /> This proposal is to put into the Zoning <br /> Ordinance a density bonus which could be applied <br /> in one of the following ways: <br /> a) A density increase of up to 25% if a <br /> percentage of the units or lots are reserved <br /> for occupancy by low or moderate income <br /> households. The percentages are based on <br /> eligibility criteria for the Low Income <br /> Housing Tax Credit. <br /> b) A density increase of up to 25% if off-site <br /> land area is donated to Orange County for <br /> future development of an equivalent number of <br /> affordable units. <br /> c) A 50% density increase would apply if all of <br /> the lots/units are reserved for qualifying <br /> households (20% low-income, 80% moderate- <br /> income) . <br /> Occupancy would be restricted by a contractural <br />
