The conversion is a <br /> continuation of the project begun in 1987 to change all <br /> County addresses to permanently assigned house numbers . <br /> To date eighteen routes have been changed (Chapel Hill <br /> routes 1, 2,4,5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, 13 and 15; Hillsborough routes <br /> 1,2,4 and 8; Rougemont routes 2 and 3; and Hurdle Mills <br /> route 1) . <br /> Route 5 Hillsborough includes an area beginning at Old NC <br /> 86 (Churton Street) , east along Old US 70 E. , south on NC <br /> 86, then along Old NC 10 east to the Southern Railway <br /> crossing; then north on Lawrence Road, east along Old US <br /> 70 E. to Seven Springs Road, returning westward along US <br /> 70 E. , south on Lawrence Road and west on Old US 70 E. to <br /> Old NC 86 (Churton Street) . Included in Route 5 are Joppa <br /> Oaks, Byrdsville, Strayhorn Hills, Colonial Hills Mobile <br /> Home Park, Colonial Hills Subdivision and Piney Grove and <br /> Valley Forge Roads . <br />
