Total proposed grant is $71 ,524 , with $32,437 <br /> from Orange County, $12 , 277 from Chapel Hill , and $800 from Carrboro. <br /> BACKGROUND: <br /> This is a yearly Continuation Application covering volunteer services <br /> provided by 480 retirees serving approximately 58,500 hours for 55 <br /> non-profit organizations in Orange County. The RSVP objectives will <br /> include recruiting, placing, and recognizing these volunteers. <br /> Impact : There would be no major increase in County match funds for <br /> the continuation of the program next year. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(5) : <br /> Approve RSVP resolution, application, and agreement and authorize Chair <br /> to sign application and Notice of Grant Award when received. <br />
