A. T. Program. <br /> BACKGROUND: Because of limited UMTA Section 16 (b) (2) funds for Capital <br /> Assistance, the N. C. Department of Transportation has <br /> requested that Orange County as part of an urbanized area <br /> make application under Section 18 for funding the C. A. T. <br /> (Coordinated Agency Transportation) Program. The application <br /> is for $16, 500 with a 10% local match for one standard 14 <br /> passenger van due March 2, 1990. Local match is provided by <br /> participating C. A. T. agencies assigned the new vehicle. This <br /> is the last vehicle replacement under the current TAG which <br /> expires in 1990. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S) : Approve and authorize the Chair to sign the necessary <br /> documents. <br />
