1 . Impervious surface limits as included in the
2
proposed 13-point agreement developed by the Work
Group. The limits include a four percent (4%)
impervious surface limit for five-acre lots, a six
percent ( 6%) limit for lots ranging from two to
five acres in size, and a twelve percent ( 12%)
limit for lots less than two acres in size.
2 . Number of two-acre lots whict may be created from
existing lots of record. As proposed, the number of
lots which can be created is a maximum of five. The
Work Group felt that higher impervious surface
limits (6%) might be permissible if there was
flexibility in reducing the number of two-acre lots
which might be created.
Since the Board of Commissioners approves
advertisements for and items to be considered at public
hearing, the Board must approve the inclusion of the
proposals.
RECOMMENDATION: The Administration recommends that the proposals of
the University Lake Watershed Work Group be included
among the items for consideration at the February 28,
1990 public hearing.
Specific ordinance proposals are being developed by the
staff which reflect the Work Group concerns. Since the
notification of property owners has already occurred,
watershed residents and interested citizens will be
made aware of the possible options to be added as they
contact the Planning Department for information.
•
