Committee will develop a proposed short and long range budget to be reviewed April 1990 <br /> by HSMT before submission to the Manager. <br /> GOAL -'RE-EVALUATE JOB TRAINING AND PARTNERSHIP ACT (JTPA) <br /> OBJECTIVE <br /> To examine current JTPA program activities and ensure maximum use of funding. <br /> PLAN OF ACTION <br /> A. Assistant Manager submit JTPA report to Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) July 1990 <br /> (report will include possible partnerships with neighboring counties.) <br /> GOAL - JPTA/WELFARE REFORM COORDINATION <br /> OBJECTIVE <br /> To develop a strategy/mechanism that will permit Welfare Reform clients to access <br /> JTPA training program. <br /> PLAN OF ACTION <br /> A. Social Services Director has developed a committee which will assist with the Ongoing <br /> County implementation of Welfare Reform programs. <br /> B. Social Services Director and Assistant Manager will assess how JTPA will <br /> March 1, 1990 <br /> interface with Welfare Reform. <br />
