Informational materials for the public to be distributed <br /> before the public meeting including means of distribution <br /> (i.e. media) and schedule for distribution. <br /> 2. Draft of "Development Standards" including: <br /> a) Lot placement to minimize waterquality impacts for <br /> 1) cluster subdivisions <br /> 2) standard lot subdivisions <br /> b) Siting of structures. - <br /> c) Septic tank setbacks from streams. <br /> d) Stream buffer requirements. • <br /> e) Open space set aside in cluster development to prohibit <br /> further subdivision. -- - - -; <br /> f) Placement and character of: <br /> 1) driveways • <br /> 2) roads <br /> • <br /> g) Definition of impervious surfaces. <br /> 3. Proposed amendments to the Orange County Zoning Ordinance <br /> and Subdivision Regulations and amendments to the <br /> Carrboro Land Use Ordinance which will incorporate the <br /> "Development Standards" as well as the- Orange-Chatham <br /> Work Group's proposed approach to development outlined <br /> below: <br /> A. BASIC STRATEGY <br /> Minimum lot size 5 acres <br /> Density 1 unit per 5 acres <br /> Impervious Surface 4% <br /> Wastewater Disposal Individual, on-site septic with <br /> public monitoring or alternative <br /> disposal with Board of Health <br /> oversight and inspection. <br /> Stormwater Onsite structural BMP's not <br /> required. <br />
