It was suggested that any new <br /> information be in writing and used by the Planning <br /> Board in making a recommendation and by the Board of <br /> Commissioners in making the final decision. <br /> Similar comments were offered by the Town of Carrboro <br /> through the courtesy review procedure established in <br /> the Joint Planning Agreement (letter attached) . <br /> On October 16, 1989, The Planning Board recommended <br /> approval of the proposed amendment, with provisions <br /> that testimony introduced after initial date of the <br /> public hearing be in written form. <br /> The amendment was further revised to specify that no <br /> new information be considered by the Board of <br /> Commissioners in making its decision unless that <br /> information was available to the Planning Board at the <br /> time of its recommendation. <br /> The Planning Board recommended approval of the revised <br /> amendment at its January 9, 1990 meeting. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: The Administration recommends approval of the proposed <br /> amendment per the Planning Board recommendation. <br />
