Though recommended as part of the <br /> work schedule, the public hearing date has not been <br /> formally set. <br /> The purpose of the hearing is to receive public comment <br /> on proposed amendments to the Joint Planning Area Land <br /> Use Plan and Agreement, and the Orange County <br /> Comprehensive Plan, Zoning Ordinance, and Subdivision <br /> Regulations. The amendments, if adopted, would <br /> implement strategies for the protection of <br /> University Lake watershed. <br /> The Board of Commissioners reviews notices of public <br /> hearing for form and content prior to advertisement. <br /> The Board also reviews proposals to be considered at <br /> public hearing for consistency with general County <br /> policy and presentation format. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: The Administration recommends that February 28, 1990 be <br /> set as the date for a Joint Planning public hearing to <br /> consider proposed protection measures for University <br /> Lake watershed. <br /> The notice of public hearing to be advertised in the <br />
