Items typically included in the CIP are building <br /> purchases, construction, and refurbishment, and land acquisition or <br /> improvement, among others. The CIP process offers the opportunity for <br /> review of long-term needs, and permits timely acquisition and phased <br /> financing of major assets. <br /> The County Manager and staff have developed a set of funding <br /> recommendations for County and school projects that make up this <br /> proposed CIP. The Manager will make a brief presentation to the <br /> Board on the Recommended CIP at this meeting. A public hearing on the <br /> CIP has been scheduled for February 5, 1990. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S) : <br /> Receive the Manager's Recommended CIP and presentation. <br />
