3 <br /> PROPOSED ORDINANCE AMENDMENT <br /> ORDINANCE: Subdivision Regulations <br /> REFERENCE: Section III-D-2-e Preliminary Plat Approval <br /> ORIGIN OF AMENDMENT: Staff Planning Board <br /> BOCC Public <br /> Other: County Attorney <br /> STAFF PRIORITY RECOMMENDATION: X High Middle Low <br /> Comment: <br /> Expected Public Hearing Date: November 27, 1989 <br /> PURPOSE OF AMENDMENT: To add provisions to Section III-D-2-e <br /> of the Subdivision Regulations which <br /> will describe under what conditions <br /> phasing plans of major subdivisions <br /> may be amended. <br /> IMPACTS/ISSUES: The proposed amendment will authorize the <br /> Board of County Commissioners to amend, in <br /> its discretion, the phasing plans of major <br /> subdivisions . The new text will list the <br /> factors which must be considered when an <br /> applicant requests an amendment to a phasing <br /> plan. The proposed addition to Section III-D <br /> 2-e will provide a remedy for development <br /> plans on which the 12-month time limit has <br /> expired or is about to expire. <br /> EXISTING AND PROPOSED ORDINANCE PROVISIONS: <br /> Section III-D-2-e.Action Subsequent to Approval <br /> [ This section states that the developer may proceed with <br /> construction of required improvements, such as roads, <br /> when the preliminary plat is approved by the County <br /> Commissioners. However, no building permits will be <br /> issued until the final plat is recorded.
