2 <br /> (4) The Orange County Department on Aging provides case <br /> management services to eligible Medicaid recipients, <br /> and is reimbursed for these services from the State. <br /> It is anticipated that these reimbursements will <br /> total $10, 180. This amendment will budget for the <br /> anticipated revenues and expenditures related to this <br /> program. No County match is required. <br /> (5) The Orange County Department on Aging has received a <br /> grant from the North Carolina Department of <br /> Transportation to supplement existing elderly and <br /> handicapped transportation programs. This contract <br /> was approved by the Board of Commissioners on <br /> November 6, 1989. The total amount of the <br /> supplemental funding is $18, 948, and no County match <br /> is required. <br /> (6) Additional state funding has been awarded to the <br /> Orange County Department on Aging for the following <br /> programs: Senior Center (home repairs) , Care <br /> Management (Respite) , and Transportation. The Board <br /> of Commissioners approved this additional funding on <br /> December 4 , 1989 . The total amount of the funding is <br /> $31, 745 with no County match required. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S) : Approve amendment to the 1989-90 Budget Ordinance by <br /> the proposed amendments. <br />
