Derrtai Requests ~S <br />• Inmate Dental requests are to be logged into Medical Log accoRiing to Jail Protocol by Shift <br />Supervisor. <br />• Dental requests reviewed by Med Passer are initialed in Log book, A copy of the Inmate Dental <br />request is to be placed on the Major's board for review, Appointments will be ananged by the <br />Major, Communication of these appointments will be made to the Med Passer to prepare <br />information as appropriate, <br />18, Clean and prepare the clinic area for the next Med Passer's shift. <br />• Empty any trash <br />Pickup any medical equipment and place them back in proper place <br />19, Afternoon Med Passer is responsible for DNA blood drawing as mandated by NC. Med <br />Passer responsibilities during this time will be conducted by the Morning Med Passer or Shift <br />Supervisor. <br />NOTE: Med passer is to assist jail staff under supervision of the Shift Supervisor during any <br />medical situations that need immediate attention. ff med passer is not occupied with assigned <br />med passer duties then the med passer will assist the jail staff under the supervision of the shift <br />supervisor. <br />NOTE: The daytime/afternoon med passer will do the DNA blood drawing as mandated by NC <br />for the Court. Necessary medical issues during this time witl be done by an on duty med passer <br />or the shift supervisor. <br />
