TTCF is entering its seventh year of operation currently on 8 acres, directly <br /> supporting 32 refugee families or 140 individuals. Based on 2016 Year End data, 867 <br /> additional refugee individuals received fresh traditional produce grown by TTCF farmers on <br /> a regular basis. We have been involved with health-related initiatives, including the <br /> community gardens mentioned above. The Healthy Kids Campaign sought to ensure that <br /> children were provided with opportunities for healthy eating and exercise through working <br /> with child care providers and caregivers to develop strategies for better nutrition and active <br /> play. We have been a partner with the North Carolina Partnership for Children and the Blue <br /> Cross Blue Shield Foundation of North Carolina for 6 years in implementing SHAPE NC, a <br /> program that works with child care providers to improve nutritional offerings, exercise through <br /> active play, and enriching activity through building outdoor learning environments. We <br /> expanded this program to serve 10 centers. This year we developed the Growing Green <br /> Early Educators Garden Network to support the development of healthy nutrition practices, <br /> child care gardens, outdoor learning environments, and incorporation of STEM concepts into <br /> outdoor learning. <br /> e) Other Pertinent Agency Information (Ex.
