This <br />would include office, research, residential, service /retail, and community uses. <br />Commissioner Gordon said that this is a serious ;croblem because it will not be easy to <br />relocate an airport. She said that 17,000 parking spaces <br />seems to be reverting to the year 1950 The impact on the town alone would be hard to <br />comprehend. The impacts are directly related to the citizens of the County picking up <br />the bill for a lot of this. <br />Tony Waldrop said that he agrees that this shows a reliance that they do not want to <br />have on the automobile. They want to join with the other municipalities and develop a <br />transportation plan for the future. They are eager to •.vork together <br />Commissioner Brown said that the County Commissioners are practical, and this County <br />is not awash in money and there are very limited resources. She would like to see the <br />cost- benefit analysis of this dev=_opment fgr the Coun y. <br />Chair Jacobs suggested that they draw in trolleys, busses, and trains because the <br />subliminal message is all cars. This contradicts v ;hat is being said. The pictures are <br />vrhat mako the impact. <br />Chair Jacobs said, regarding the airport that he would encourage them to make it clear <br />to the citizens and to the users that the only purpose for the airport is for the program <br />and not for trustees who have jets to core in for football games. The more constrained <br />the facility is, the more likely a suitable sate ::t {i be found.. <br />Commissioner Halkiotis said that the last time the County Commissioners heard this <br />preser,tauon, there was a bigger de'ecatcn.. and omen the question was asked about <br />the housing and impact fees being assessed, it was not positive- The Board ;r.,as <br />basically told that there would not be any impact fees paid 'because there would not be <br />any children coming out of the housing. He is pleased to hear that the door has not <br />
