The draft of the <br />plan was completed in early 2006 and a Community Meeting was held on March 27, 2006 to <br />receive citizen comments on the plan. <br />The draft plan contains numerous recommendations in the following topic areas: <br />• Water and Sewer <br />• Land Use/ Community Character /Design <br />• Transportation <br />• Housing <br />• Parks, Recreation and Open Space <br />• Communications <br />• <br />Intergovernmental Issues <br />• Other Recommendations, including: <br />• Potential Transfer of Development Rights (TDR) Program <br />• Emergency Shelters <br />• Impact Fees <br />• Historic Preservation <br />• Incorporation <br />• Plan Updates <br />o Implementation <br />An Executive Summary containing a synopsis of the most significant recommendations made in <br />the plan is included in the draft plan immediately following the Table of Contents.
