My role in Epidemiology has given me the opportunity to work meet and work with many residents of Orange County and various service organizations to include the Orange County Health Department. I grew up in a farming community in N.C. and my children participated in 4H farm projects. While I do not have any farm work experience outside of summer work while growing up, I greatly appreciate the value that sustainable farming adds to the local community. Volunteer Experience: My county volunteer experience is limited to working with little league and soccer teams while my sons were growing up, I worked as a volunteer for several years for MedWorld, a UNC medical volunteer team that collects and recycles medical supplies to developing nations, I was recently appointed to serve on the Ag Center Work Group and look forward to serving on that team.Orange Co.
