The boazd unanimously recormnends Laurie Lee to fill the Little River Township position cunently vacant. Ms. Lee is a resident of Little River Townslrip. "The criteria for this position are: • That the applicant selected be a resident of Little River Township, that be/she show an active inter°est in the development and improvement of recreational opportunities and parks in Orange County. • That he/she possess experience or training in recreational activities and/or • Experience or training or demonstrated interest in parks and a • Willingness to commit to active par-Cicipation on the Council In addition, the Recreation and Parlcs Advisory Council is cormntted to increasing the diversity of Council members azid conunitted to preserving a geographical balance of representation whenever possible. It is the feeling of the Council that Ms. L,ee will provide valuable input as a member because: • She will represent Little River Township as a resident and properly owner. • She is an active volunteer in our community and our schools. • She served as a "neighborhood liaison" during the plaruring of the Little River Regional Parlc. • She has Chaired the Orange County Horse Council since 2003 • She has an interest in recreation and parks as demonstrated in indicating this board as her only az'ea of interest. br addition, Ms. Lee is the only applicant from Little River Township Thank you for your consideration of this nomination.
